Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium on Reels

The Kansas City Chiefs spirit can be felt throughout the Zoo! Some animals like sea lions Delilah and Luna have been the perfect cheerleaders, while caracal Nandi and addax Mariano demonstrated skillful ways to take down the 49ers. Guests who visited the Zoo saw excellent chalk art at the Scrubland Aviary and even goal post enrichment in the octopus habitat. There is a scimitar-horned oryx baby boom at the Kansas City Zoo! Three of our newest residents got to stretch their legs on exhibit for the first time this morning. These extremely rare antelope are classified as extinct in the wild and the KCZoo is doing our part to ensure their survival. We are still expecting more youngsters this spring, so keep your eyes peeled for these adorable calves on exhibit on the African plains. | Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium
