Why Do We Want a British ID When We Could Just Have a Military Border Service? I don’t know about you, but I don’t understand why we don’t just deploy the military or a dedicated border force to prevent unauthorized crossings. Anyone coming in on a work visa or applying for residency should be required to obtain a British digital ID. We must stand up and make a U-turn on these weak policies.
