As Captain Newland and the James R Barker were waiting for the Algoma Equinox to reach them and clear their position so they could move forward, both the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours and Original Soo Locks Boat Tours went by as they came out of the MacArthur Lock… The Famous just went by but the Captain aboard the Original decided to try giving the Barker a Captain Salute and to our shock and surprise, Captain Newland saluted back!!
