Our time in Sapwuahfik Atoll in Pohnpei was super productive, shares expedition leader Paul Rose. Focusing on a select number of high-target areas, we deployed drop, pelagic, and deep water cameras and did three to four scuba dives each day. The expedition’s local scientists, photomosaics team from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and underwater media team returned each day with big grins and compelling stories from their time in and around this big, complex atoll.
