We decided on our 2nd day to check out one of the state parks in North Carolina. We always enjoy seeing new places, so off we went to check out New River State Park. Once we arrived, we of course had to check out the park office and visitor center. We met a very friendly park ranger who gave us a bit of information of the area and helped us with choosing a trail.
