It’s Week 5 of Troop School for the Class of 2025-A! This week, the recruits split into three groups (A. B. and C). Group A went to the driving track learning E.V.O.C (Emergency Vehicle Operations Courses), while Group B went to the shooting range enhancing their skills on the weapons systems used by the Arkansas State Police. Group C learned Integrative Combatives (A.I.C.) which is a mix of self-defense and martial arts techniques for use in physical altercations. Only 7 more weeks to go! | Ark

It’s Week 10 of Troop School for the Class of 2024-B! This week the recruits are trading groups! Like last week, half of the recruits spent their time on the driving track, learning E.V.O.C (Emergency Vehicle Operations Courses), while the other half spent their week learning V.E.R.S. (Violent Encounter Resolution Skills). Weeks 11 and 12 will be spent at home for the holiday break but their training will continue with online courses! | Arkansas State Police
