Astronomers have discovered a distant, icy object named Ammonite, officially known as 2023 KQ₁₄, located in the farthest reaches of our solar system. Orbiting far beyond Neptune, it comes as close as 66 astronomical units (AU) to the Sun, which is about twice the distance of Neptune.
