Join us at the Skills Demonstration and Career Expo this Wednesday, January 10, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon! Inmates will have the opportunity to highlight their skills to second-chance employers and media in the fields of culinary arts 👨‍🍳, electrical work 💡, welding ⛓️, and truck driving 🚛. Other activities include tours of classrooms and mechanical shops. Attendees will also be able to interact with individuals who are close to returning to their communities.

The TDCJ - Bartlett Innovation Unit inmates are teaching basic commands to foster dogs from the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to help give them a second chance at finding a home. 🐶 🐾Through this program, they are gaining experience and learning new skills that aid in their rehabilitation journey. | Texas Department of Criminal Justice
