A little different radio than I normally work on, but all the same concept. This National sw-54 built around 1951 came out to me for repair a while back. Tonight I started work on it and was able to get it working after replacing the electrolytic caps. I will need to go thru and replace the rest of the wax caps and address the speaker which is bad. Also the tuning shaft is broken in which I’ll have to address as well, likely from a donor set I will find. More work ahead but so far moving in the
