Planning a spring visit to Joshua Tree? For quicker access, consider using the North Entrance in Twentynine Palms or the South Entrance off Interstate 10. The West Entrance in the town of Joshua Tree tends to be the busiest. To streamline your entry, purchase your pass in advance at Recreation.gov. and to avoid the crowds, aim to arrive before 8 am on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
