Resting in the main yard of the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad at Wells, MI is this rarely seen EMD FR7 built in 1949. Numbered ELS 901 and ELS 106 hidden behind is awesome just to see them while imagining what they must have been like running down the line! It may appear that I crossed the fence, but I did not. While filming the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad in north Wisconsin many cars shot right across the railroad crossing and never slowed down, even though it has a stop sign in place.. I'm surprised more people don't get killed at Holmes Junction Road in Marinette County!
