Amtrak's "Capitol Limited" is seen at Martinsburg, West Virginia at last light on the chilly evening of February 21, 2019. A pair of P42DC locomotives are in command of the daily Washington, D.C. to Chicago, IL passenger train. In November of 2024, Amtrak temporarily discontinued the "Capitol Limited," combining it with the "Silver Star" to create a new train named the "Floridian."
