Kadarius Toney was part of one of the most shocking sports stories of the year so far when news broke on Wednesday that he had had a warrant out for his arrest since mid-January, with the former Kansas City Chiefs receiver finally being jailed on February 6 at a $50,

Kadarius Toney appeared to address his recent arrest in a cryptic Instagram post that has since been deleted. He wrote that people, “will believe anything” about him as “long as it’s bad.” TMZ Sports has pictures of the deleted Instagram story from Toney on their website.

TMZ’s report indicates that Toney is being held on “one charge of aggravated assault — strangulation … and one charge of obstructing/harassing 911 calls.” Toney is accused of strangling a woman during an altercation on Jan. 14, allegedly putting his hand around her throat.
