HOOVER, Ala. -- The Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team put on a dominant display on Thursday night as they eliminated the Oklahoma Sooners from the SEC Tournament 6-1 in their third round contest.

The SEC baseball tournament begins May 20 at Hoover Met, where some of the best teams and players in the nation will be on the field this week.

Tennessee baseball is facing Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament semifinals for the second straight season at Hoover Met.

The Commodores mustered eight hits and were aggressive on the base paths, winning their opening game in Hoover with ease.
