Sean Kingston will spend three and a half years behind bars after being convicted of a $1 million fraud scheme. The 35-year-old singer, born Kisean Paul Anderson, was found guilty in March alongside his mother, Janice Turner, who received a five-year sentence last month.

Sean Kingston will spend 3½ behind bars, a judge decided Friday, for his involvement in a $1-million fraud scheme. His mom is serving 5 years for the same crime.

Last March, Kingston was convicted by a federal jury of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.
