Major stock markets in the Gulf rose in early trade on Monday, recovering some of their losses from previous sessions when they were rattled by the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

Investors struck a cautious tone on Monday, as an escalating conflict between Israel and Iran pushed oil prices higher and raised wider questions about the long-term impact.

Markets rose in London and across Europe even as the Israel-Iran conflict entered its fourth day. Oil prices continued to head higher. Brent crude (BZ=F) swung up 0.6% in early trade, briefly touching the $75 mark earlier in the session.
