Tampa, Miami, Denver, Houston and dozens of airports nationwide–have experienced air traffic control outages in recent years.

Colorado lawmakers in Washington, D.C., are calling on the U.S. Department of Transportation to address travelers’ and pilots’ worries after a communication outage on May 12.
