The Detroit Pistons were confused on a crucial non-call and a referee decision to not review the exact timing on the clock late in Game 3 on Thursday night in a gut-punch 118-116 loss to the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA playoffs at Little Caesars Arena.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the scoring for the Knicks with 31 points, eight rebounds and two blocks while shooting 10-of-18 from the field. Jalen Brunson added 30 points, shooting 11-of-13 from the free-throw line, along with nine assists and seven rebounds. OG Anunoby added 22 points, and Mikal Bridges had 20.

Anunoby vowed that he and his teammates would “make some adjustments ourselves.” Anunoby did a much better job navigating all those screens in the Knicks’ 118-116 Game 3 win over the Pistons Thursday night at Little Caesars Arena.
