An air quality advisory has been issued for portions of Northeast Ohio due to a summer-like warmup with sunny skies and surging temperatures.

The air quality advisory, in effect until 11 p.m. Wednesday, urges people to "limit strenuous outdoor activity in the afternoon and early evening when ozone levels are the highest," according to a news release from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
