Sheldon "Timothy" Herrington Jr. of Grenada, Mississippi, faces a charge of capital murder and a new charge of tampering with evidence.

Timothy Herrington has been re-indicted on capital murder for the death of Jimmy “Jay” Lee. Herrington was on trial for Lee’s murder in late 2024. A mistrial was declared after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision.
