A t least one suspect attempted to gain access to the home of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto early Wednesday morning, authorities said. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the 9200 block of Nightingale Drive for an attempted burglary around 5 a.m.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto puts on a performance reminiscent of his early-season dominance in the Dodgers' 5-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

It appears Yoshinobu Yamamoto's dog helped keep things safe at home when the Dodgers' pitcher was on a road trip.
