Robin van Persie has been confirmed as the new Feyenoord manager, as the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker departs Eredivisie side Heerenveen.

Robin van Persie has been appointed Feyenoord head coach on a contract through to the summer of 2027. The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker will be assisted by Rene Hake, who spent the first part of the 2024-25 season as assistant coach to Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Robin van Persie has been appointed as the new head coach of Feyenoord. The ex-Manchester United star has signed a contract at De Kuip until summer 2027. Van Persie, 41, impressed in his first senior managerial role with fellow Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen.
