Senator Lindsey Graham has made a rare break with President Donald Trump on his Iran policy. In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, the South Carolina senator quoted Trump as saying that the Israel-Iran ceasefire will allow the region to live "in peace and harmony."

President Trump lashed out at both sides for continuing to attack one another hours after he announced a ceasefire between the two countries.

But in the hours before the ceasefire took effect early in the morning, Israel said it had killed “hundreds” of Iranian security personnel in bombing raids in Tehran, while an Iranian missile pierced Israeli air defences, hitting a residential building in Beersheba, killing at least four people.

This request came just one day after the high court permitted immigration officials to resume quick removals to third countries.

The Supreme Court has permitted the Trump administration to deport migrants to countries other than their own. The decision opens the door to faster removals of people in the U.S. without authorization.
