President Donald Trump said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has "become a Palestinian" in a dispute over a gifted $400 million jet from Qatar. Schumer said his party would seek to block all Department of Justice political nominees over the president's desire to accept the Qatari jet as a gift to the U.

“The Trump meme coin is the single most corrupt act ever committed by a president,” Senator Chris Murphy told Reuters in a statement on Friday. “Donald Trump is essentially posting his Venmo for any billionaire CEO or foreign oligarch to cash in some favors by secretly sending him millions of dollars.”

Chuck Schumer, the Democratic leader in the Senate, said he would put a “hold” on nominations to the Justice Department in protest against Donald Trump’s plan to accept a jumbo jet from Qatar. Mr Schumer described the proposed gift as “so corrupt that even Putin would give a double take”.
