Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney broke his silence following his bilateral meeting with Indian PM Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada. Carney struck a cautious tone while speaking about the 2023 killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar,

PM Carney welcomed PM Modi to the G7 meeting, saying it was a "great honor" to have India there. He said India's involvement shows how important the country and its leadership are globally.
