In a “Back to the Future” themed social media video, the team revealed its new look, which features a modernized Spoked-B logo, much like the one used by Bruins legends such as Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque and current team president Cam Neely. Neely was featured in the video, as well as “Back to the Future” star Michael J. Fox.

In a video announcement paying homage to Back to the Future featuring Michael J. Fox and Charlie McAvoy, the Bruins hyped the new jersey as being "Boston built" and "powered by tradition." Bruins president Cam Neely touted the jerseys as having a combination of "fan-favorite" elements from the team's history and a revitalized style to carry them into the future.
