Advance Auto Parts Set To Close 700 Locations Across the US
Advance Auto Parts is closing 700 stores and four distribution centers by mid-2025 in a major restructuring plan.

Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Advance Auto Parts operates more than 4,700 stores in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. According to its website, the company also serves 1,125 independently owned Carquest-branded stores across these locations, in addition to Mexico and some Caribbean islands.
Advance Auto Parts closing 700 stores nationwide, including 9 in Oregon
Advance confirmed that it plans on opening more stores in the future. The Associated Press reported in November that nine stores in Oregon would close in the reduction. The company operates 25 in the state.
