It's been quite some time since AEW fans were gifted with an appearance from the 'Redeemer' and it's possible they've already seen him for the final time in All Elite Wrestling. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Miro has asked Tony Khan for his release from the company.

Miro wants to leave All Elite Wrestling. “The Redeemer” has requested his release from AEW, according to a new report from Fightful (via Fightful Select). Miro has not wrestled for AEW in 2024. His last match in the company was a win over Andrade El Idolo at AEW Worlds End in December 2023.

Latest backstage reports have reveal that former WWE superstar Miro (Rusev in WWE) has requested his AEW contract release.

Miro had signed a contract upon joining AEW in September 2020 that was set to expire in Spring 2022. However he signed a four-year extension around that time, that could still have him with AEW until Spring 2026."
