The Japanese gaming giant predicts sales of 15 million of the new machines in their first year, and it managed 3.5 million in the first few days after hitting stores earlier this month.

After the massive flop that was the Wii U, consumers had every reason to believe the original Switch, released in 2017, would be yet another Nintendo gimmick that would push people to buy a PlayStation or Xbox instead.

The Switch 2 will be another hit that will satisfy plenty of gamers, especially families. But its graphics and speed are not on par with the latest gaming tech.
