Dana White has been hired to the board of directors at Meta - a move fans feel is simply Mark Zuckerberg trying to appease Donald Trump

Dana White has been appointed to the board of directors of Meta, alongside auto tycoon John Elkann and tech investor Charlie Songhurst, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post late Monday. The social media company owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

The 55-year-old is a long-time friend of Mr Trump, as evidenced when he spoke at the president-elect’s election night party at Mar-a-Lago. Standing next to Mr Trump, the UFC boss said his friend’s win was “karma” after the establishment went after the billionaire businessman.
