During the Boston Bruins ' March 1 contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Brad Marchand left during the first period after suffering an upper-body injury. The Bruins captain was injured after receiving an awkward hit from Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph.

A game removed from getting hit into the boards, Brad Marchand was not cleared for game action against the Wild.
