As the Philadelphia 76ers continue their 2024-25 season without Joel Embiid, they are also monitoring Tyrese Maxey and Paul George. Both of the Sixers’ other stars remain banged up as they head into a matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Tyrese Maxey left with a back contusion midway through the third quarter of Monday night’s 119-102 loss to Portland, a game that the 76ers began with three starters injured. Anfernee Simons scored 34 points, and a 35-20 edge in the third quarter made the difference for Portland.
