About the only thing colder in Green Bay on Dec. 7 was that handshake between Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and Bears head coach Ben Johnson. Following the Packers' 28-21 win over their rivals at Lambeau Field, LaFleur and Johnson had as quick of a meet-up as you'll see after a game.
The Chicago Bears needed big plays from some key rookies on Sunday, and these players delivered in spades.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love put up another big game, topping a 113 passer rating for the fourth time in five career starts against the Bears.
For the Packers, QB Jordan Love was 17-of-25 for 234 yards with three TDs, one INT, and a 120.7 passer rating. WR Christian Watson caught four passes for 89 yards and two TDs, and WR Bo Melton caught a 45-yard TD, his only reception of the game. WR Jayden Reed, back from injury, caught four passes for 31 yards and ran twice for 22 more.
The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears 28-21 in a Week 14 thriller to take over possession of first place in the NFC North. Keisean Nixon sealed the game for Green Bay when he picked off Bears QB Caleb Williams in the end zone with 22 seconds remaining in regulation.
The Packers were just one win behind the Bears in the NFC North and frustrated Chicago to lead 14-3 at half-time, before the visitors regrouped. Caleb Williams has already led his team to five fourth-quarter comebacks this season but was intercepted in the end zone on the game's final play to halt their five-game winning streak.
