The train show includes operating model railroads, displays by manufacturers and vendors selling popular brands such as Lionel, LGB, Bachmann and USA Trains, organizers said.

At Railroads in the Park, several area model railroading groups set up elaborate track layouts and had trains running continuously.

Now in its 18th year, the event, presented by the RIT Model Railroad Club, features vendors, museum displays, operating model railroads, seminars, and more.

Trainfest is back this weekend at Wisconsin State Fair Park, and FOX6's Brhett Vickery can't wait to show you the model train manufacturers, operating model railroads and model train dealers.

This show also helped raise funds to keep the Kalamazoo Model Railroad Historical Society operating. The next train show is scheduled for October 27, according to organizers.
