Instead of playing in a bowl game, the Fighting Irish said no thanks and won’t be putting its brand on television this holiday season.
Notre Dame received a shock from the CFP committee. Miami climbed two spots to No. 10 — and that pushed the Irish to No. 11 and out of the 12-team field.
