WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Former Wichita State star and NBA champion Fred VanVleet was elected president of the National Basketball Players Association, the union for NBA players. VanVleet’s election happened over the weekend. He begins a four year term taking over for CJ McCollum, whose term ended this year.
