Soccer players and fans were baffled after President Donald Trump crashed English club Chelsea's trophy lift at the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday. The president joined the London side on the field as they celebrated a 3-0 victory over France's Paris Saint-Germain at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

Chelsea lifted an imitation of the Club World Cup trophy — because the original is permanently housed in the Oval Office after being gifted to Donald Trump. The US president has revealed that he was given the trophy by FIFA president Gianni Infantino during a visit to the White House in March.
