CENTCOM announced on Monday that it had conducted strikes against nine Iranian-linked targets in Syria. The strikes were in response to attacks on American personnel.

The U.S. has struck nine targets at two locations in Syria to hit Iranian-aligned militias that had launched attacks on U.S. personnel over the last 24 hours, U.S. Central Command said

The U.S. military said on Monday it had carried out strikes against nine targets associated with Iranian groups in Syria. In a statement, the U.S. military said the strikes were against two locations in Syria and a response to several attacks on U.

U.S. military officials are not saying where and when the attacks against American forces in Syria took place.
