The Oklahoma Supreme Court has rejected a request to reconsider its ruling to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the last two known living survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

A suit was filed on behalf of Viola Fletcher and Lessie Benningfield Randle who survived the 1921 Oklahoma massacre.

In light of a previous court order in the dismissed case, plaintiffs sought to tweak the legal argument to focus on "active wrongdoing," but the request was denied Monday by the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
