After knocking off arch-nemesis, San Francisco 49ers, the now 7-2 Los Angeles Rams are rewarded with another NFC West face off. This coming Sunday, it’s the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks coming to SoFi Stadium for a battle culminating in league supremacy.
W OODLAND HILLS, Ca. The Los Angeles Rams defense was tasked with a difficult challenge on Sunday and that challenge was to stop the San Francisco 49ers offense enough to win. While there were ups and downs, the Rams' defense came through, establishing their answers to the questions posed to them before the game.
L.A. won two consecutive games before its Week 8 bye and currently has the third-best scoring defense in the NFL, which allows an average of 16.7 points per game. And in those past two games, the Rams defense gave up just 10 points — three to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 and seven to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.
