SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild, KSTP-TV, 5 Eyewitness News and KSTC-TV, 45TV, and FanDuel Sports Network North today announced that four Minnesota Wild games will be simulcast on over-the-air television this season. This marks the first time since the 2010-11 season that Wild games will be on over-the-air television.
The Milwaukee Admirals and Iowa Wild will take things outdoors on Friday afternoon as part of Hockey Day in Minnesota, and you can watch it from the warmth of your house.
Gray Media will air these four Minnesota Wild games on stations throughout the Upper Midwest, including markets in Minnesota (Mankato); Iowa (Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Ottumwa and Sioux City); North Dakota (Minot-Bismarck and Fargo); South Dakota (Rapid City and Sioux Falls) and Wisconsin (La Crosse-Eau Claire, Green Bay, Madison and Wausau).
The Sabres previously beat the Wild 3-2 in a shootout on Nov. 29. The Wild made one franchise-altering change since then, with the blockbuster acquisition of Quinn Hughes in December. The defenseman has 16 points (1+15) in 16 games since the trade.
