Cedric Coward registered another 20-point outing, helping the Grizzlies snap a four-game losing streak with a win over the Mavericks in the NBA Cup.

The Memphis Grizzlies ended the first quarter trailing 42-30 after the New York Knicks scored 12 consecutive points. That run carried over into the second quarter. The Knicks went on a 19-0 run overall and haven't trailed since. Turnovers and 3-pointers are two areas that have drastically gone in New York's direction.

The Grizzlies (3-6) went on to lose 124-109. It was their fourth-straight loss, and it was marked by what players called "spurts" of low energy and a general lack of positive body language in a season that's started to slip off the rails.

Both teams lost the first game on Tuesday. The Celtics lost 102-100 in Philadelphia while the Grizzlies lost 133-120 in New York on Tuesday night. Both teams are 1-1 on the second night of back to back games.
