A massive fire ripped through a block-long three-storey structure in Allentown, Pennsylvania, prompting authorities to escalate the response to a fifth alarm.
Fire officials said crews were dispatched around 1:50 p.m. to the 7500 block of Northwest 82nd Place, a heavily industrialized area, after receiving reports of a fire at a commercial auto warehouse.
A Midtown Manhattan high-rise building was evacuated Tuesday after authorities said it was at risk of collapsing. Approximately 150 fire and EMS personnel are on the scene.
