I now run two proxies and don’t aim to space them evenly. I placed them with enough overlap that a BLE device can reach either. Two boards in the same room would’ve cost the same and fixed nothing. Home Assistant pools every proxy and routes each device through one. So an extra proxy helps if it can reach devices the other proxy can’t.
