The Beavers, forced to reimagine its place in college athletics after the Pac-12 cast it aside, deliver a celebratory moment by winning the West Coast Conference women's basketball tournament Tuesday in Las Vegas.

Despite losing most of last year’s Elite Eight roster, Oregon State women’s basketball won the WCC tournament and will dance again in March Madness.

Catarina Ferreira finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds and Oregon State wrapped up its first season in the West Coast Conference with a tournament championship, ending two-time defending champion Portland’s 13-game win streak with a 59-46 victory.
