Dozens of M1 Abrams tanks, M2 Bradley vehicles and Sherman tanks are slowly making their way down the parade route. Many of the military vehicles, including the tanks, traveled from Texas by train and arrived in Washington,

The Army expects as many as 200,000 people to attend the parade that honors the U.S. Army’s formation and coincides with Donald Trump’s birthday.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Eight years after President Donald Trump was dazzled by a grand military parade down the Champs-Élysées in Paris, he is finally getting a chance to try to top the spectacle.

"It's really fun, and honestly nerve-wracking," said Jonas Chu, an armored vehicle driver who will appear in the Army's 250th anniversary parade.
