Philadelphia 76ers trade pickup Quentin Grimes has surpassed Paul George in the team's loss against the Hawks.

Quentin Grimes scored 35 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, for the 76ers (22-42), who have lost four of five. Dallas sent Grimes to Philadelphia in exchange for Caleb Martin last month. Risacher’s follow-up, two-handed jam helped the Hawks close the first half strong for a 66-57 lead at the break.

Quentin Grimes was on the injury report heading into the matchup. According to the Sixers, Grimes is dealing with left bicep soreness. He joins a crowded report, which includes a handful of key players who won’t get the nod to play in Minnesota.

It was a good night for the ping-pong balls but not to watch actual basketball outside of another strong Quentin Grimes’ outing.
