Anyone still hoping to pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 before launch has probably lost all hope. Pre-orders across the US sold out fast when they went live in April, and there hasn’t been a single restock in the months since.

If you weren't able to secure a Switch 2 console preorder, you'll have chances both in stores and online during launch week.

Walmart has now confirmed to us that it will restock the Nintendo Switch 2 in its physical stores and online from release day, though there's no mention of a midnight launch here. Those in Pacific and Mountain-time can shop from 9pm PDT or 10pm MDT via Walmart's Supercenter stores.
