Latin hip hop superstar Pitbull announced Friday that he has ended his partnership with NASCAR Cup Series team Trackhouse Racing and will be leaving his role as team co-owner effective immediately. Pitbull had served as Trackhouse's co-owner alongside former NASCAR driver Justin Marks since the team's first season in 2021.

Pitbull has ended his partnership with NASCAR team Trackhouse Racing. Pitbull is still scheduled to play the concert ahead of Sunday's Daytona 500 as part of the race festivities that include “Captain America” actor Anthony Mackie set to serve as the grand marshal and give the command for drivers to start their engines.

Ask any of the four drivers something about the different backgrounds of their race team — whether that be Daniel Suárez of Mexico (99), Ross Chastain of the U.S. (1), Shane van Gisbergen of New Zealand (88) or Hélio Castoneves of Brazil (91) — and they’ll laugh and shrug.
