Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is already dealing with a fairly concerning injury situation. Stafford was contemplating retirement earlier this year before he decided to return to the Rams.

Stafford continues a slow build toward being ready for the season as he deals with an aggravated disc in his back.

McVay said at a press conference that Stafford will work out on Saturday ahead of the Rams' preseason game against the Cowboys. If all goes well in that session, Stafford will be in line to practice with the team on Monday.
